Yael Kahn Pinto earned her MS E.d. in early childhood general and special education from Bank Street. She began her teaching career at a Jewish preschool where she became passionate about and developed expertise in the Reggio Emilia approach and constructivist education. Yael believes that active investigation and learning through discovery are vital components of early childhood education, and works with children and educators to create a climate that encourages questioning, exploration and understanding. She currently works as an Early Childhood Educational Consultant with The Jewish Education Project where she focuses on leadership development and teacher training.
