Early Childhood Education Specialist
Dr. Eileen Flicker is USCJ’s early childhood education specialist. She has been an advocate for children and families for over 30 years in both Jewish and public school settings. Her experience includes work as a teacher, principal, curriculum coordinator, school improvement specialist, professor, educational consultant, and yoga teacher. Eileen has Master’s Degrees in Early Childhood Education, Educational Psychology, and Developmental Psychology and a Doctorate in Curriculum and Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University. Additionally, she has a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification. Eileen is the author of Guiding Children’s Behavior: Developmental Discipline in the Classroom (Teachers College Press) as well as other journal publications.
