Amy Meltzer
PJ Library Engagement Officer
Amy Meltzer has worked at PJ Library as an Engagement Officer since July of 2017. Before joining the team, Amy was a long-time kindergarten teacher at Lander Grinpsoon Academy, a Jewish day school in Northampton, MA. She also served as the director of young family engagement for Abundance Farm, a Jewish educational farm, and developed Jewish family programming with Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art. Amy is the author of two children's books, including the PJ Library selection A Mezuzah on the Door, and the parenting blog, Homeshuling. Amy is the proud founding director of the Teva Learning Alliance and maintains a passion for getting children and families outdoors together. Amy is a 2015 recipient of the Covenant Award. She lives in Northampton, MA with her husband, her two teenage daughters, and a beautiful golden retriever.
