Lisa Lasovsky has been an early childhood educator for 26 years. She is originally from South Africa where she received a BSc in Early Childhood from the Johannesburg College of Education. She immigrated to the USA in 1999 and is the Preschool Director and Kindergarten Hebrew/Judaic Studies teacher at B’nai Shalom Day School in Greensboro, North Carolina. She is a proud member of JECELI (Jewish Early Childhood Education Leadership Institute) Cohort 1. She is currently a participant in LHTI (Legacy Heritage Teacher Institute), where she works on a yearlong project of Family Engagement. Lisa is passionate about Jewish education and loves connecting children and their families to rituals, traditions and heritage. Working in a small school within a small Jewish community, she looks forward to meeting, networking, and collaborating with other EC educators!
