Beginning in 2016 The Jewish Education Project has been conducting a series of parent focus groups in New York with parents of children 0-2. The purpose was to first understand parent’s perceptions and decisions to participate in Jewish and secular early enrichment and then to understand their actual experience participating in the enrichment program Music Together: Sing Shalom. We will share the research findings and insights, and discuss broader implications for engagement of families with young children today.
