One of PJ Library’s Engagement Guiding Principles is to pause and challenge our assumptions about where families can have Jewish experiences. By observing where families gather outside of the home, and listening to what matters to them, we can engage families in Jewish life on farms, in soup kitchens, and in museums. In this session we will learn about a variety of successful family programs that integrate Jewish life with 21st century family life. We’ll begin designing model programs, and consider the many ways to make sure these program are welcoming, content rich and help build social connections.
