In 2017 alone, PJ Library communities across North America hosted approximately 3,000 family engagement programs. Through parent surveys, conversations with our program professionals, and research in the field, we’ve learned a lot about what makes a great family engagement program - especially from the perspective of the adults. How might we bring together PJ Library’s vast knowledge of family engagement, and shifters’ deep expertise in young children, to design truly amazing family programs? In this session, we’ll co-design family programs that build on both PJ Library and early childhood best practices to engage parents and children in Jewish life.
